The Black Pegasus (Carolyn Lee) was born in 1995. Her family owned a horse ranch nearby a forest. She was one of the happiest children that ever lived. She was born with an irresistible charm on her face, and unusual intelligence. Everyone in the neighbourhood loved little Carolyn. She was a very kind hearted girl and she had a passion for riding horses. Carolyn was never allowed to step onto the forest grounds. On her 5th birthday her father gave her a black horse (who she named Pegasus) as a present. Though she was petite and small, she was trained by her father to be an excellent archer and horse rider. She won numerous amounts of trophies for horse archery. As a child she was always curious of what lies on the forest grounds.
On the night of her 9th birthday she rode Peggy (in short for Pegasus) into to the forest to hunt with her arrow and bow, breaking the family rules. She rode into the deep and dark area of the land. Carolyn never believed in mythical creatures. Her denial of their existence makes them want to prove themselves more. This result in the appearance of Slender Man. Slender Man is associated with the forest. Known to traumatize, stalk and abduct children. Carolyn realised she has gone too deep into the forest; she decided it’s time return home. As she turned her horse around, Slender Man’s tentacles grabbed Peggy and tore the black beauty’s heart out. Carolyn fell onto the ground and yelled as loud as she could for help. She crawled towards Peggy and held her head in her arms crying her heart out. Slender Man’s tentacles reached out to Carolyn and grabbed her by the neck. No words came out of him but he blew a wave of dark magic into her mouth. As the black wave enters her throat she felt as if her bones and veins are being crushed by giant trucks.
At dawn, she woke up on her bed in cold sweat and her body was aching all over. She thought she had an awful dream. But it wasn’t a dream after all when she realised a mark was left on her wrist, resembling a silhouette of a Pegasus. She found out from her father that he found her in the forest all weak and passed out, but Peggy was nowhere to be found, there were no traces of blood or anything that could relate to an attack. Carolyn’s father believed that she fell down from her horse and it ran away. Carolyn was very upset that both her parent do not believe her side of the story, even the mark on her wrist was accused to be drawn by herself.
Ever since the horrible incident in the forest she has been hearing voices and seeing Slender Man appear everywhere she goes. She sees him in her school locker, outside the window, and almost all the places she glanced at. At the age of 10 she started using a penknife to cut her arms. Whenever she had the chance to get a knife on her hand, she would try to remove the mark on her wrist, causing severe bleeding. At the age of 18 she was sent to the asylum because she was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. Certified doctors have never encountered a patient as mentally damaged as her. Carolyn wore a straitjacket every day.
One night, she pleaded a new staff of the asylum to remove the straitjacket. Deceived by her ‘normal’ behaviour and innocent looks, the new staff removed it for her. She instantly ran out of her room and no one could catch her because she ran as fast as a horse. She wandered the streets until the next morning. She could feel that her body is becoming weaker. She fell on to the ground and was almost trampled by passer-by’s. A kind lady went to her aid and helps her to get back on her feet. Carolyn smiled and thanked her. The smile she gave triggers an awful pain in her veins as if they were shrinking. She felt even weaker than before. She managed to put herself on a bench near the streets and rested there until night time.
Later during the night, she saw a drunken passer-by. Carolyn had an instinct and an urge to kill the man. She crept behind him, following his footsteps. And a slashed him with a broken bottle. The man took his last breath and Carolyn felt that she gained strength of a hundred horses. Shortly after, her back started to ache badly and a pair of wings burst out from under her skin. It stretched as far as her arms could open. The morning mist kissed her cheeks and she realised she cannot get rid of her wings. She was running out of time, as she knew people will soon flood the streets. Carolyn bit her lips and tore of her wings. She screamed in pain as her back bled but it healed within minutes. The wings turned into ashes as soon as it was detached.
She travelled to another country and started a new life with her alter ego she named ‘Black Pegasus’. Her intelligence got her a job as a CEO a few years later in a successful steel company. Each smile she puts on gives her extreme pain in the veins, which worsens her temper day by day. She is known as the big bad tempered boss to her workers by day, but after midnight, she kills those who wander the streets as the Black Pegasus. The police department believes that there is a serial killer on the loose. However, many suspects have been captured and released due to insufficient evidence. Despite warnings given by the authority, some still wander out after midnight. Many who encountered the Black Pegasus would plead for their life to be spared, some even promised to keep her existence a secret. Little do they know, the Black Pegasus solely believes that;
Two can only keep a secret, if one of them is dead.
