Suksian's mind map

Hello! :)
I'm Suksian and here's my mind map!

As I've mention on the previous post that our topic is saviour. Therefore my mind map have to be connected to the previous topic. I've did some research on the Emancipation Proclamation. The Emancipation Proclamation was an order issued to all segments of the Executive branch (including the Army and Navy) of the United State by President Abraham Lincoln on January 1, 1863, during the American Civil War It was based on the president's constitutional authority as commander in chief of the armed forces; it was not a law passed by Congress. It proclaimed all those enslaved in Confederate territory to be forever free, and ordered the Army (and all segments of the Executive branch) to treat as free all those enslaved in ten states that were still in rebellion. The Proclamation could not be enforced in areas still under rebellion, but as the army took control of Confederate regions, the slaves in those regions were emancipated rather than returned to their masters.

We use the 6 colours again. So, the positive of emancipation proclamation were :-
  1. Abraham Lincoln was elected to be the president during 1860.
  2. He Proclaimed that all those slaves to be free forever.
  3. The emancipation would come after separate states actions and the December 1864 ratification of the "Thirteen Amendment" which made slavery illegal in U.S.
  4. The proclamation lifted the spirit of African Americans both in Southern & Northern states.
  5. It also led to many slaves escaping their master.
  6. African Americans were finally able to get educated.
  7. African Americans were treated fairly.
For the negatives of the proclamations were:-
  1. It did not compensate the owners.
  2. It did not itself outlaw slavery.
  3. It did not make the ex-slaves citizens.
  4. It outraged white Southerners who envisioned a race war, angered some Northern Democrats, energized anti-slavery forces, and weakened forces in Europe that wanted to intervene to help the Confederacy.
I have positives and negatives feeling towards this proclamation. The positives feeling are happy, glad, great, optimistic and fair that the slaves were saved and released. While the negatives feeling are anger, awful, unfair for those slaves.

For the blue one- organisation I wrote about Abraham Lincoln's data.
  • American
  • 16th President of U.S.
  • Poor family
  • Married, 4children
  • Born in 12 February 1809
  • Died at the aged of 56, 15 April 1865
  • Self-educated to be a lawyer
  • He' also a politician and a whig party leader
  • A one-team member of U.S. House of Representative during 1840s.

Last but not least, the green one- creativity of what Abraham Lincoln has done. Lincoln led the United States through its greatest constitutional, military, and moral crises—the American Civil War —preserving the Union, abolishing slavery, strengthening the national government and modernizing the economy. Thank you!
